I'll see about doing an additional beta release to include some more side content I planned, most notably that.
As for "Inside the Shard", plans changed a little bit, and that area is now going to appear in a different part of the game than I first envisioned it. That's coming soon (hopefully)!

Readers with good memory know that I had previously talked about including additional side content in this demo, particularly the Frostmint Mansion and Inside the Shard. For the former, I really just ran out of time/steam to get it done, and have plenty of important bug fixes that need to go out.

An aside to my important note... I didn't know about this flaw in Godot's save resources until about a year into development, and I had already architected the entire save/load system around that format... For future projects I will be using proprietary/JSON save formats for sure.

An important note, due to Godot's ability to save and execute code using their native save format, be VERY CAREFUL if you would download a save file off the Internet. I otherwise don't mind if anyone wants to use this to save scum or edit their saves or whatever. Do so at your own risk, but go nuts!

It's been a long time since I've done one of these! This is the Stagmite, a stone-skin deer that lives in the Grandstone Quarry. Its strengths lie in its ability to take hits and resist status, while putting out decent damage!

I had this kind of problem recently (the method to calculate eligible targets was OK, but the GUI script to do so wasn't properly resetting) for 3 years, and it was just caught thanks to a dedicated player who I had tested my latest version. Imagine the trouble I could've saved with automatic tests

If you choose to summon the Tree-Bear as your minion in battle, it'll protect you by Intercepting damage from attacks, heal your wounds with Affinity power, and cure your status effects!
It has a high amount of HP and Resistance, so it can take a lot of damage!
