Agreed. Placements should happen in as many facets of the healthcare systems as possible. Primary care, long term care, palliative care. Our CCPs do placements with respiratory therapy and ICU

Defend this person all you want. The truth of the matter is he should never have a license to practice paramedicine ever again. If an independent regulator existed he wouldn’t.

We’re the other end of the spectrum. We just removed the requirement for medical oversight. Completely self regulated. Employers may still have medical oversight physicians but they aren’t a requirement for licensing

There’s no downside to anyone else if paramedics are regulated. What would their grievances be?

Icy Road Conditions Good Day, Halifax Regional Police is reporting hazardous icy road conditions on HRM roadways.. Icy roads are being widely reported and police are responding to several collisions thoughout the city. HRP is requesting motorists and pedestrians to use caution when venturing out onto the roadways.

Sobeys does have a bike rack but I don’t like using it. It’s hard to get to and there’s usually stuff all around it so I just ride to the door hop off and walk in with my bike. No one has said anything to me either place.
