My band SOHO410 has a new EP coming out 8/1/2025, I'll be teasing it here as well as on all our socials (@soho410 pretty much anywhere)

This image is going to go down in history one day. This is a moment of hope. I can't even believe it. I'm so proud of CVH and Maryland rn.

(cont.), alcohol, voting rights, gun rights? What does that do to prevent slavery? Does that rework the prison system, the military industrial complex?

What is happening now isn't even as scary as trying to figure out
WHAT IS AMERICA AFTER THIS?

THAT'S the constitutional crisis. Our own identity

That's what I mean when I say think about after. What if we enter civil conflict? What if we as a nation have to destroy this Constitution because it has been defiled so badly, and rewrite a NEW one? WHO GETS PROTECTED? Can a consensus even be reached? What happens to marginalized groups? (Cont.)

Pay attention to the people who are the loudest voices of dissent. The AOCs, the Chris Van Hollens, the Bernies, the people who are mobilizing. We need to make sure they have the motivation of bringing legitimacy and law/order back. We need to redefine this country. What does that even look like?

AI is being used to sift through monstrous amounts of personal data and is flagging people all over the country with no human buffer. Chances are posts JUST LIKE THIS may one day be my downfall.

But that's not the point. I don't want to talk about what this coup does. We have to confront the after.

(cont.) presidents and other parties have facilitated other slights against the rule of law, and now we're forced to hold them all to the light. This is the worst we've ever seen, but it has ripped the shroud in twain. Every office can be weaponized. It is. People can be disappeared, for no reason.

...just to make the horrifying discovery that we've been really, really good at disenfranchising human beings across the globe, pretty much since the first wave of settlers hit this rock. No matter what party. No matter what era.

America understands that nothing is free. But they don't understand THE PRICE. They don't fully comprehend what all this turmoil has opened up. Crimes against humanity, genocide, grifting, all out in the open... It hasn't just made the GOP rich, it's made historians start to compare and contrast...

How can we trust the courts, our representatives, our senators, literally ANY position on ANY side when we've seen both ANNIHILATION of humanity, and STUNNED SILENCE, and the most that can be mustered up is a filibuster, a tour of a handful of senators and reps, and asking for....more money?

How can a political party restore faith in ANY position of power after every single sector of the American government has not only been GUTTED, but de-legitimized by the actions over the past 90 days? How do we put any honor on the Constitution, after it's been trampled like an empty candy wrapper?

47 is human. Vance, Rubio, Musk, all the people who drew up P2025... they're all human beings with naturally predetermined end dates. They will not live forever. But the repercussions of all of THIS... That's yet to be seen.

I have no interest in talking about Trump anymore. The entire world is watching that.

I want to talk about what happens AFTER.

For one, I got to redo my band's logo and I think it's our best yet (a sneak peek for those who follow me here, haven't shown the rest of the world yet)

I started using this as an alternative to fb/x so that I could share music & art stuff, but this is where a lot of the activists are. It gives me the tiniest sliver of hope.
