Can confirm. I felt really self conscious, like I was failing as an artist, but privately a few artist friends have confirmed stuff is drying up. I feel very fortunate for my clients who have stuck around so far <3

I am your ally, and trust me when I say I am materially personally doing as much as I can to make sure we get through this.

I don't typically post like... Political stuff on my pages, because I want my art pages to be safe spaces where you can enjoy my art. You follow me because you enjoy that, and not necessarily for my political or media takes, but I thought it was important to post this.

The sun will rise the next day, we will get through this, and if history shows us anything, our survival will lead to more prosperity and freedoms. You don't need to be the singular reason things work out in the end. You just need to survive.

I often speak of hopeful or positive things with my friends lately, and it is not to discount the negative being pushed out, but because we NEED hope and uplifting things to focus on. Being inundated with bad emotions and bad news is a tool of our current oppressors.

I know it probably goes without saying I feel this but trans rights are human rights, and I think queerness and art in general are deeply important and we should fight for it.

I know things are hard, and bad, but a huge goal of facism is to crush hope and dissent. We are strong together. Please try not to drown, and if you're strong enough to swim, carry those who aren't with you. Your existence in and of itself is protest. It is darkest before the dawn.

Well the sequels are named Chocoholic and Chocolate Devotion respectively so I'm sure you can see where this is going lol

It might be a while just because I want to focus on other ideas rather than indulge in the same idea after the exhausting process of doing the first one, but I absolutely intend to pursue it in the next year probably! Thanks for the feedback

It’s been almost a month since releasing my pay comic, here are my thoughts: it felt good to finish, and it’s cool to get money for something original I made. I weirdly have no idea what people think about it, as I’ve received very little actual opinions on it. If you bought it, I hope you liked it!
