Hi! I'm Marc J Gregson, the author of the NYT bestselling Above the Black fantasy trilogy. I've been writing since I was a teen and I finally got published in 2024. I'm now weeks away from celebrating the release of the conclusion of my trilogy.

Had the best time visiting Fonts Books in McLean, VA today. Right away I pull into a parking spot and see my book in the window!! 😱 I signed 13 copies and dropped off some fun swag - totes, pens and bookmarks. Thank you to Amber and the staff! ❤️

These are my books—I wrote them!

I've wanted to be an author since I was a teenager. It was a dream of mine to write a big fantasy trilogy with strange monsters, memorable characters, and lots of action. Next month, that dream finally comes true when DOWNFALL launches on March 17th, 2026!

So exciting

Super exciting to get the email from the audiobook director and going over the pronunciation guide for her and the series' awesome narrator, Vikas Adam. This is one of my favorite parts of releasing a new book.
