She looks like she's had a rough time, her iconic bow "deflated" behind her head. Her snout is drooping. Her eyes are narrowed. She looks kind of awful. Who fucking did this to her. The world? Must we fight the world?

Birdo stands there with those adorable eyes of hers, nearly cross-eyed, arms held at her sides. She's got shorts on, with a tank-top, posing in such a fashion that shows her big round ol' belly. You could beat that thing like a drum and it'd probably echo like a melon. As if in spite of this fact, she is very much flat-chested. "bwaaoo-Woh!" she says. Descriptive text reads: (pronounced like the SMW level-end sound-effect where the circle closes in on mario)

Shut up, and listen. Here’s what you’re gonna do. First, you gotta get Sonic Adventure DX on Steam. Then, you go to the SADX Mod Installer GitLab page and download it. Next you gotta open up sadx_setup.exe. In the installer, make sure you choose the DREAMCAST preset. Don't do DX, make sure it's Dreamcast. Enable advanced options, change the window title to Sonic Adventure, and choose the VMU icon. Install all of the data, open the mod loader, configure your settings, and save. Then, and only then, can you play Sonic Adventure.

It's because *most* story-focused games restrict or take away your control in service of their stories, and the interactivity and agency of the format is what MAKES video games my favorite medium.

There are plenty of exceptions. I love MGS way too much to say I *never* like a story scene.
