She watches his eyes shudder, feels his body stiffen beneath her. Slowly he slips away - first emotionally, then with one flick of his wrist, physically.

She props herself up on one elbow and watches

She follows the pattern of the snake’s body, almost making to the head before he pulls his arm away.

“Don’t touch that.” He says, his voice still wrung out and scratchy, but more stern. “I hate when you touch that.”

“Draco,” Hermione starts, tilting her head to look into his silver eyes.

There’s no deadlines, no ministry games they have to play or head games with their “friends”. It’s just the two of them, together.

Draco’s other hand reaches across his torso to snag her fingers in his. “Mmmtickles.” He mumbles. She lets out a light laugh, her fingers tracing the lines on his arm.

She watches his chest rise and fall from her place - her head perched on his shoulder, one hand tracing light circles across his chest and abdomen.

The hand Draco has tangled in her hair is massaging her scalp ever so slightly and if she could, she’d be purring. These moments are her bliss.

These were always Hermione’s favorite moments with Draco. Their clothes shed on the floor, their bodies heated and slick with sweat, their chests heaving with their frantic breaths, her legs tangles with his beneath the sheets.

The moments after they worship each other and fall together.
