It’s well deserved. The final season was excellent. Considering the shortened season & less screen time for supporting characters, the writers made the best of every character. The decisions to have ultimate closure & plenty of heart & nostalgia along the way is how a final season should be done.

I hope everyone had an excellent Christmas. I (Todd) was listening to our review of #IronMan3 (#179) in the car today & heard a mistake in the outro (not Joanna’s fault; I had a typo in her script). I re-uploaded the audio with a fix for that & improved (I hope) the audio quality some too…

“My friends, you bow to no one,” and then *everyone* bowing to four little Hobbits, that were never meant to leave the Shire but that saved the world, is the best moment in cinematic history.

…Also, pairing Rizzo with Gonzo, Sam the Eagle as the school headmaster, Statler & Waldorf as Marley brothers, Bunsen & Beaker as the charity guys, Bean Bunny as turkey kid, the cute mice, the great song lyrics…. There’s so much great decision-making in that movie.

...A little trivia... At a duration of 01:51:13, our "Don't Hug Me, I'm Scared" review is our 2nd-longest ep, only beat by our Episode 100 Extravaganza. We've had 2-parters & one 3-parter that might have been longer if not split up, but I didn't want to split this one. So, yeah, it's 2nd-longest.

I (Todd, the editor) was listening to our podcast episode #161 #DontHugMeImScared, in the car tonight, and I wasn't satisfied with the volume balance. I have "remastered" the episode a little & have re-uploaded it. Take a listen, and let me know if it's better or if you notice any issues.

...I would rank the end of #SupermanAndLois with other great series finales, like the ones for #Babylon5 (still the best), #Eureka, #StarTrekDeepSpaceNine, #StargateUniverse, #StargateSG1, #TheGoodPlace, #WandaVision, and #TheWestWing. No spoilers, but I loved the techniques used for closure.

The series finale of #SupermanAndLois was excellent. It was action-packed at first but left plenty of time for being nostalgic, emotional, and wrapping story *all* the way up. A beautiful end to such a classy, sophisticated show. A top 10, maybe top 5, series finale (Todd's opinion anyway).
