It’s not that I hate music. It’s fine. Nice, occasionally. I just do not see what the fuss is about

I do not get what all the fuss is about. Music is ok but really nothing special. Yes, all music. Living without it would be like living without lemons - mildly annoying but unlikely to affect my quality of life at all.

There’s a sad irony to the fact that the European leader who seems to have the best grasp on the acute political challenges of the moment - Macron - is also the one who has been least effective in heading off populism (eg. failing to prepare an heir, laying a path for President Le Pen etc)

I think my meaning is perfectly clear. The far right is horrendously prejudiced against Muslims, but claims to support non-Muslim Arabs. This incident shows they are in fact violently prejudiced against Muslims and non-Muslims alike

‘House of Guinness’ is terrible. Badly acted, atrociously written, a pantomime version of Irish history, riddled with so many cliches you wonder when the leprechauns would turn up. A poor man’s Peaky Blinders crossed with a terrible reenactment video from a Guinness brewery tour. I enjoyed it!
