Oh, the "Say you will..." line...

Marvin asked if I (really) wrote songs. I said I had written over a hundred... & quickly added, "well, w/ God's help".

Everything took on a more spiritual nature then. After we sang & talked, he said, "Say you'll sing your songs..." & then, looking deep

We discovered we both loved music ~ both singer songwriter wannabees ~ &, naturally, started singing.

We were getting a little applause from the few others around. A man came out of the room & told us to be quiet. "Noise! Keep the noise down!"

We laughed. "Yeh, but it's Soulful Noise". 💘🤣

W/ that, I sat down next to him, but couldn't hear what was going on. Marvin asked why I was so interested. I told him they were talking abt "our future".

#3... Marvin could see how hard I was trying to see & hear what was going on in there. We hadn't spoken to that point, except to say hello, earlier.

He offered the chair next to him. I didn't know him, so I declined. Then, he said

"Aww... talk to me..." Then, w/ a quick nod towards the big room

#2... stayed in the hall, sitting along opposite walls.

After 30 minutes (bored), I went into the large room. Eventually, whatever they were talking about thoroughly engrossed me. But, a couple rowdy kids came in & we were all shooed out. I struggled to still see & hear thru the open door.
