We are doing something of a trip down memory lane this week. This is an article that was published about the campaign soon after it launched in 2015.

In 2016 Go Vegan World expanded the campaign to the UK and Go Vegan Ireland became Go Vegan World.

Some of the radio interviews from the early years of the Go Vegan World campaign (2015 and 2016) are still available. We hope that our campaign has improved over the years so that non-vegan members of the public have access to information about animal rights.

Amy is the tiniest hen in her group but she has the biggest, bossiest personality. She makes sure she has first access to food, the nicest dust bath, and she sleeps in the rafters watching the other hens on their perch below.

Holly is almost blind and has epilepsy and has recently had a series of infections. It's a worry when those we are so close to, get closer to the end of their life. But at a vegan sanctuary it is as close to the natural end of their life as possible unlike farms where they are slaughtered.

At long last little Frankie has joined a group of sheep and she is delighted with herself. It has been such a long and arduous journey for her to recover and she put up with months of treatment and confinement with good grace. We hope she will be with us, symptom free, for a long time.

As we watch Blackie and Aengus' lovely friendship and funny antics, it is easy to forget their sad histories of exploitation at the hands of the humans who bred them into this world. But it is a mark of their self-determination that they are able to live such enjoyable and fulfilling lives.

Coco has grown into a beautiful young sheep. She looks a little different to when she first came to us, but her friendly, fun loving character is the same.
