The North Division winners edged South Division champions Ehtar Belleville FC 2-1 in extra time today in Omaha to claim the conference title in their debut MWPL season.

Goshen City FC are 2025 Great Lakes Conference Champions! 🏆

The GLK-W winners went on the road and earned a 2-1 win over GLK-E champions Cedars FC tonight in Dearborn to claim the conference crown in their debut MWPL season.

With time running out, Mikey Kostoglanis took a low free kick from 32 yards out that beat the keeper (86') and ended up deciding the game. He only took the kick because he won a game of rock-paper-scissors against Jack Heald! 🤣

Playing down a man and trailing in the 2nd half, Damian Addai launched a free kick high and into the box that slipped through the keeper's wet gloves. Jack Voight pounced on the loose ball (76') to further cement him as the club's all-time leading goalscorer.

The 2nd goal was a total BANGER by Gavin Rabideau (22') from 20 yards out! Max Crawford was on the broadcast and the sound he made when that shot went in was priceless! 🤣

The scoring started with an own goal by Rovers (5') off a pass across the box by Jack Voight.

Year 5 of @lansingcommonfc.bsky.social ended on a high note with a wild 4-3 win over Holland Rovers in a game that had a little bit of everything! The Robins finish the 2025 season in 2nd place in the @midwestpl.bsky.social's Great Lakes West Division. Thank you to everyone that supported this year!

The Robins got off some good shots against Midwest United FC, but the only goal we scored was off a PK by Ali Ahmad (59').

A second loss of the season for @lansingcommonfc.bsky.social took control of the @midwestpl.bsky.social Great Lakes West Division's title race out of our hands.

A quick turnaround takes us to Grand Rapids on Sunday 7/13 to face Grand Rapids SC for another crack at 3 points. #ComeOnYouRobins!

Jack Heald added to his season-leading goal tally for @lansingcommonfc.bsky.social off a quality assist from Max Crawford that was set up by Xtreme Hauk (54').

A tough first loss of the season for @lansingcommonfc.bsky.social after a lot of questionable behavior by players from Goshen City FC.

The first-place Robins are off for a week before returning to @midwestpl.bsky.social action against Midwest United FC in Lansing on Friday 7/11. #ComeOnYouRobins!

That led to the big finish: a timely interception by Ben Novello, a leading pass to Voight from Jayson Janofski, and the set up for Joey Farhat to bury the game-winner (90+3') that sent Robins fans home happy!

After halftime, Mikey Kostoglanis scored his 2nd goal of the season (53'), but the hosts would draw level with a PK at the beginning of stoppage time...
