🧵 It's only when you put your finger on them (and hide the button) that they become transparent. Anyway, you can hardly see them.
Animations seem smoother and bouncier, especially when you open the iPhone and the home page appears. Or the animations for notifications at the top are softer.
🧵 This is especially true in the App Library. I reduced transparency in the accessibility settings. Maybe one day I'll change the background to allow for better transparency.
Finally, the glass buttons only move when you touch them, and I wonder why they aren't permanently glass. ⤵️
🧵 For the lock screen, I switched to plain text instead of glass.
On the homescreen, what stands out are the shiny corners (top left and bottom right): they are white compared to the rest. My background, even blurred by hand that makes it difficult to read the transparent parts. ⤵️
🧵 Yesterday I switched to iOS26. First reaction was that true that it's not very readable with my background. I noticed that as soon as you do something transparent, the backgrounds need to be as uniform as possible. Texture of the image acts as camouflage, breaking up the shapes of the writing. ⤵️

Last June I downloaded #ON1PhotoRAW 1 month trial. After account creation, I got an email deluge: 19 emails in 30 days. I felt overwhelmed, and that was an enough reason stop. Is it common #marketing to reach out leads so often? 😰 I want a product to use, not a vendor to contantly email me.
