I thought his acting was good though. Maybe he has ticks and a way to hold himself and to talk etc that are well known to be "Markiplier" and I didn't notice and thought they were supposed to be Simon. That's why I think not knowing him might actually be a bonus.
Ah well, too bad I guess. I went in half blind (I was told there was a blood moon and about the quiet rapture basically) and I loved everything. The ending was a bit too jumbled maybe? I mean it felt like when action is scrambled to make an ending seem better. But that was the last 5 mins or so.
I've never seen a Markiplier video in my life and watched Iron Lung yesterday. I really loved it and Simon. I think it's probably easier to get into the movie and love the character if you don't know Markiplier actually. It's just a great movie by itself.

I saw Iron Lung in theatre yesterday. It was just incredible. Best movie I've seen in a while. I just loved it.
