They have their own language of whistles that let them communicate across vast distances from yolback, and often Qalli will act as messengers between tribes if they happen to cross paths and news needs to be shared immediately

I've also filled out a handful of Qalli tribe members (+Narin's family, natch) and since we have very little info about them aside from a blurb, I decided they're incredibly entwined with their yol mounts and are very nomadic as a result, ranging hundreds of malms to let their birds hunt

I had a lot of fun especially chewing on who the captain prior to Carvallain was and the circumstances surrounding his eventual promotion iykyk

I have a list of Kraken's Arms members that were active while Adalyn was running with them to keep track of everyone who gets brought up in backstory discussion/fics! Name, age, race, and a little blurb about their role and how they joined the crew because it informs so much of their characters 😁
