I think the Monster Hunter franchise have changed their design intent to become more mainstream-friendly, but in doing so, has lost its soul. Used to be a game where you had to struggle and learn to succeed, has now become a cesspool of leeches who barely do damage, cart, but get the rewards anyway.

I've personally switched to Linux on all personal computers. Can do most things I want to do without issue, and when I can't, the challenge is fun.

Unfortunately at work, we all have to use domain-joined windows computers with things controlled by GPO etc etc, doubt they will ever change that.
