When I stood at the East Side Gallery and reviewed what’s left of the Berlin Wall, I never imagined the poignancy of the moment. Until now. The painting is of Mikhail Gorbachev, the last leader of the Soviet Union (1985-1991), driving a Lada? Trabant? Zil? This was the only panel with graffiti.
