Found this ladybird with a heart-shaped spot in the garden this morning. A nice break from the doomscrolling.

If you’re writing something yourself, you are finding sources and reading them and developing a mental map of how they all relate to each other and to the thing you’re writing. If you get an LLM to do it for you, you don’t have any of that.

In the forest, clear, lovely water cascades down a small fish ladder into a calm pool below. The forest is very green and lush. The mood invoked is one of serenity. (And the salmon do indeed come to spawn in this creek each autumn.)

And how kind of you to say that. But I’ve really loved the worlds and characters of these two series.

Will be looking forward to that!

I’ve read all of the Queens trilogy and two of the Netherford Hall series. (Can’t wait for the next instalment.) If you love great plots; wonderful, strange world building; and really haunting characters, take a chance and start either of these series.

Well, just let me at it! (Release date yet, maybe?)
