Modern SNL is everything wrong with comedy, imo.

Palance and Steiger chew up the screen in this weighty Hollywood drama while Lupino steals every scene with calm assurance. One heck of a cast. Some impressive writing and clever use of the set.

which makes more sense. Have a fancy limited special edition and then a bare bones edition.

It's really stupid self-defeating gatekeeping.

I understand the concept of limited sets to boost quick sales but how does it make any sense in the long run?

My main early impression of Pluribus is that they've put a lot of effort into it.

Conscience is a stark, poetic and fatalistic tale of occupation which focuses on one harrowing question. Some beautiful imaginary and debatable acting merge to make a thoughtful, bumpy and depressing.

I really despise that kind of humour, which doesn't help it!

Sydney Sweeney's PR/agency having a normal week. They seem like a match made for the 4th Reich.

There is an intriguing premise and some clever ideas here but it's stretched out far too thinly; becoming essentially boring and annoying. Much of the humour simply doesn't work and it's more irritating than unnerving.

They did WHAT to Bond? You spoiling barstools.

They'd need to make a couple back to back, really, which they won't.

They need to stop focussing on Bond as well. There are all the other 00 agents, CIA etc. To concentrate on one white guy just seems daft.

I suspect it has more to do with advertising and product placement. Which is pathetic.

The BMA demand for 26% pay restoration for Resident Doctors is ridiculous. Similar crackpot demands from other public sector unions are also mad. Noted that these unions are much quicker to strike when we have a Labour government. Seems politically motivated.

I was a bit worried about the new series of Slow Horses as it started off a bit ropey but it comes good in the end. Still feels a little too rushed compared to the first three.

There's nothing new or original here, but it's fun enough. Not up to the standard of the first but benefits for just going for it from the off.
