I have a new one that is very close to being ready to send out...lmk if you like eco poetry that tackles AI, social media and representation...if you want a memoir of what it has been like to be an interfaith Jewish kid in a dysfunctional family full of loss, I have that, too.

I don't have an MFA, but I got a BA in Anthropology & Music, then spent several years as a touring & recording bassist, then spent ten years teaching reading intervention and english/language arts. I have learned a lot about how the body processes sound, rhythm, symbol, & sense

My new story "A Body, A Commodity" reimagines the folktale about The Woman with the Golden Arm from a disabled perspective... with a vengeful little twist at the end. ⚡️

I have realized that editing isn't my thing. It causes the anxious gravity, and the falling tide lowers all my boats. Reading and reviewing are how I intend to focus my contributions moving forward.

There is an amount of waiting to keep and considering some, with a sigh perhaps, the few differences between awake and sleep Lamps new-lighted now - - making frail realm against overwhelm

He gets the mail, reads all of it, even the T-Mobile phone stuff, the “Your car warranty has expired!” The Sam’s Club brochure. The TV is on inside, mainly for the noise, the laughter and the clapping. He’s tired, just getting the mail; almost got stuck outside. Embarrassing.
