I totally get the frustration. Knitting is such a relaxing pursuit until you muck it up!

The challenges are to read a book that …is written by someone with the same initials as you ...is about someone you admire ...is about someone you don't admire …..has a number in the title ...has illustrations ..was published in 2025 ...has won the Booker prize ...is written by someone called James ... you were supposed to read at school but never did ... has "sea" in the title ... was written the year you were born ... was written for teenagers

I closed my Etsy store earlier this year. And then a couple of weeks ago took a load of old stock to work. Raised £308.00 for Macmillan. So happy about that.
Macmillan have made a huge difference to me over the last year. ❤️

Eight hats of various colours and sizes

This month I’ve knitted everyday for Dementia UK. Eight hats made and £300.00 raised.

I’m delighted with today’s outcome in parliament. Assisted dying is a choice none of us want to have to make of course. But having some control over what happens to you in the worst of circumstances will be amazing.

This week has been a bit of a write-off. Some sort of chest infection has knocked me for six. On the plus side… loads of sleep…
