For the record I also don't think it's necessarily aliens! But IMO weird stuff in orbit lends credence to eyewitness reports of weird stuff in the sky, and I hope science-minded people will be more willing to look at those reports now in this light.

FWIW the reason I'm hearing for why we don't see them now is just that there are so many transients due to human-made satellites that they are all filtered out as a matter of course.

Just saying, it's had the effect that science minded people just hear there was a hearing that showed an easily debunked video. Seems likely to me that effect was intentional on the part of whoever sent it in.
