Not much in the constitution that is more blunt or straightforward than this. Compared to this the 2nd amendment is a cryptogram. Any court that finds that the President can end birthright citizenship is an illegitimate court.

Nobody cares about the victims in the Dallas ICE shooting apparently. The first I've heard about one of them was on CNN today. He's fighting for his life in the hospital --- he was brought to the US when he was 13. He's 33 now. No criminal record.

I just don't know what to say anymore.

The fight against the conditions in Broadview isn't over. Far from it. I'll be there for the Friday morning protest (7-9 AM).

But if you're considering going out tonight, take a moment to also consider other lives at risk.

We are here to advocate for our neighbors, not jeopardize them. 6/6

As someone who has been peacefully protesting at Broadview every Friday for weeks, I cannot in good conscience fail to name these additional risks publicly or advise others to go.

ICE is escalating and confrontational protest right now will likely make conditions worse for everyone except ICE. 4/6

ICE sealed off Beach Street with an unlawful fence which forces protesters to be at a driveway that is ripe for kettling. Yesterday, they shot pepper balls, flash bangs, tear gas, and rubber bullets at 9 AM.

It will almost certainly be worse tonight. And used as an excuse for ICE overreach. 3/6

ICE has escalated week after week. They have told the village of Broadview that tonight will be a "shitshow", terrorizing residents and using more force against protesters.

ICE Is Deporting People to Africa on Nearly Un-Trackable Military Flights Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is deporting people to African countries like Ghana on military flights that are nearly un-trackable.

NEW: Air Force jets are doing ICE flights to Africa with transponders turned off, making them nearly un-trackable.

This includes the third-country removal to Ghana and another secret flight. We figured out where it landed.

I'm so attached to my books, whenever I find books I love at the thrift store I buy extra copies of them. That way I don't have to loan my copy & hold a grudge when they don't come back, I just give the interested person a copy. Much less awkward.
