Maybe, but he’s the president. And all that comes from the Whitehous, comes from him. And he’s filling his pockets.
Don’t underestimate him.

After the berieved have said farewell and left money, the person responsible for the cremation wil gather the money and start the fire. And count the money. The family has left.

Amazing, this habit of watching cremations. What drives people to do this? Do they want to learn something?

A monkey in the Pashupatinath watches the first steps of a cremation: the washing of the deceased in the river by the eldest son, who has his hair shaved of as a sign of mourning.

Watching cremations is quite popular with locals, tourists and others 🀐. The platform across the river is expensive to rent for a cremation. Only the rich can afford it. And that's where viewers are found.

Who cares, the quality of your photography is dictated by your lens (Leica) and your film. The rest is not too important.

In Kathmandu people can cremate their dead at the Pashupatinath, an important religious centre. One can go there and see these cremations, and even photograph them.
A remarkable place

What makes this photo of Stark Mountain by Ansel Adams so special? Is it the angle at which he shoots it. Or the use of monochrome and the zone system. Or the background?
Or is it just a photo of something special?

Yes but camera equipment this expensive must use lensen that can do exposure time priority AE and focussing with aperture open. And I understand that it doesn’t perform well in reliable colors. My M10 is monochrom, so I’m happy.

This is an EVF, which β€œlooks through the lens” like the SLR. The SLR ALWAYS focusses with the aperture open. Even if you set it to 16 or 5,6. When you make the photo the aperture closes for a split second. Focusing manual or AF without that is lousy. And what about AE? It has to be electronic!
