I was stressed so I made this

A sickly red poster with text at the bottom reading “that house is never going to sell.” The epitomous hollowed out husk of a house, nearly pitch black, looms in the background while trick or treaters warily walk past it. The trick or treaters wear cat, dog, bee costumes along with a couple of mournful eyed goblins in the back of the crowd. Around the scene a red telephone cord coils which is being cut apart by a triangular round faced slasher wearing a hat and overcoat.

Halloween draws near. History is an ocean that echos and groans. Many states and wishful kings have tried to build rafts and boats to remain atop it. Yet we will never breach the surface of the nightmare so long as we avoid pulling up the victims sunken below.

CW Smoking Hannum, a yellow, middle-aged devil, leans down with an unlit cigarette, graciously leaning down to his cohort Ratzy, a living plush, who smokes his own cigarette. He struggles to meet Hannum in the middle-- he stands on his own tail, offering up a lit match. While Hannum seems unconcerned with anything, Ratzy looks at the viewer with his singular eye with a mix of shame and frustration, none of which is directed to his friend. Grime and smoke swirls behind them, Hannum's hair disheveled under his hat, betraying both Hannum's poise as well as an elegant boarder that frames them both. The deep black hues of their designs are impacted by the smoke, revealing color.
