I play a lot of khruangbin! you’ll hear some occasional lyrics, but they’re a largely instrumental band that’s rarely distracting at low volume and enjoyable enough that my students have never complained (and they complain about everything LOL)

I’ve tried both approaches and gotten extreeeeemely deep in the weeds on desk arrangements. After fairly exhaustive trial and error, I’m currently a rows guy that strongly prefers open seating. Naturally, I reserve the right to re-assign individuals when necessary.

My daughter’s school does this on Wednesday’s, but it’s a private/christan org. and the day was specifically chosen to allow students to go to their individual church youth groups.
