Even *if* you care about K:Ds and rank in a competitive game. When you know the top 20 percent of the leader board is cheaters and hackers. Why should you care about that number? It's wrong anyway.

Kind of agree. Like on a personal level.

But, I also get why companies think they need a kernel level anticheat with as bad as cheating is now-a-days.

Part of why I don't care about competitve gaming is because cheating, and various other unsportsmanlike conduct, has been so bad for so long.
