Whatever it is I probably haven't seen it. Left. Socialist Republic of Scotland (pending). "AI" sceptic. Blocked by Sleaford Mods. He/him. I have music over at https://gunaite.bandcamp.com

His advisors must be desperate for another skip along Downing Street hand-in-hand with Zelenskyy opportunity.

Where would you like to go with that? Kuwait hasn't directly attacked Iran, but has been happy to facilitate US bases. Does Kuwait play innocent? Does Iran? Stop pretending there aren't severe consequences to such a military buildup.

That couldn't possibly have anything to with the US surrounding Iran with airbases, most of which with tacit UK support, could it? Pathetic of you to play innocent under the circumstances.

Yup, can't possibly have anything at all to do with Iran being a major oil supplier to China.

The British, French and German leaders are represented here by their waxworks in order to increase credibility to their statements.

If Reform had won, Labour's statement would be that this result is a stark reminder we need to listen and learn from voters who rightly feel betrayed by modern politics.

But the Greens won by a comfortable margin, so it's: these voters are stupid and also sinister and, ugh, Muslims

I really don't want to curse it, but *usually* the earlier the opposition get their excuses in, the more they know they've lost.

I know astroturf doesn't have to be grown like real grass, nevertheless you'd have thought this entity might have existed a bit longer than, I dunno, an hour ago.

Yes you have. And worse.

Just remember your carby cheesy dreams don't reflect reality.

Or do they?

Whether the Greens have won or lost, don't take the spin to heart - even if they win it'll be branded a "protest vote". Reality is they'll have scared the shit out of an establishment party who thought Green votes were theirs to keep. No longer.

2/ closer to home, in the past I didn't offer my time leafleting and donating to the SNP, only for the hierarchy to drift rightwards, roll back on progressive values thanks to the influence of certain MSPs (Kate f*cking Forbes) and have a minister set up cosy meetings with the Israeli ambassador.

1/ I think this applies not only to political activism, but positive things you do in life more generally. You work with good will towards something positive and important, only to find the hierarchy you're doing it for are pretty much leaching off you, or just don't care about the consequences.

Also, shitting your pants about the Greens having a more nuanced and considered approach to nato and its future does not amount to anything cogent.
It merely makes you a geopolitics cosplayer.

I'll take that as a no.
Btw "loony left", when ascribed particularly to parties/individuals who can at most be described as democratic socialist is very much a favourite of the right-wing. Of course, if you're comfortable using it...

Do you have even the slightest self-awareness to realise you haven't successfully argued against any of the points made to you, and that you've simply resorted to hiding behind piss-poor insults?

Nails, hair, barbers, general beauty stuff are about the only viable small business stuff going. They've kind of eschewed corporatism. Car insurance can go through a unionised co-op. Food can be a lot cheaper than it is right now - the big supermarkets chains are making insane margins.

Labour are now so beholden to AI and tech bros they're trying to prevent a Butlerian Jihad.

The latest nonsense Facebook advert Labour are pushing in the Gorton and Denton by-election. Just one more reason why I could never vote Labour.
