This morning we woke to the extraordinary news that our bank accidentally duplicated several of our payments that were scheduled to be paid – ‘we’re sorry for any inconvenience.’ As you no doubt know, small presses, like many small businesses, are run on a knife edge, and as our print reps will attest, every transaction is a haggle, a struggle to ensure survival. To be clear, this will not kill us off, but we do need to quickly find around £1,000 to pay our next print bills on time.
