My favourite memory from my recent holiday to Gran Canaria was being on stage at a drag cabaret show, sitting on the lap on a drag queen, and being asked what I did for a living. I said I was head of PR for TESLA and was solidly booed by several hundred audience members. Superb!

I’ve been offline for a bit, but I’m just guessing that in the past 24 hours:
1. Rowling expressed another awful opinion
2. Trump did something monumentally stupid
3. Badenoch exercised the political judgement of a toddler

I do love this time of year. My husband’s a very talented and dedicated gardener, and from now on there’ll be pops of colour appearing all over our garden.

Badenoch’s vindictive nature is far greater than her political judgement. She should be appalled that two UK MPs - of any party - were detained and then deported from Israel. But she just couldn’t help herself, and chose to side with Israel because the MPs were Labour. An awful, awful human being.

I don’t know why I’m watching BBC news at ten. But its coverage of the Le Pen ruling is a disgrace.

When will the BBC news team just give up the ghost and admit they’re no longer even pretending to be impartial.

Its right wing bias is sickening.

Prosecutors want Le Pen's punishment to include ineligibility from running for public office for five years. Crucially, they want the ineligibility to start straightaway – which would scupper her hopes of running for president in 2027.
