Oh no I just read the quick start...

I can't say I'm a fan of the new art style but I can see why you would take it in this direction to hook in new players. I think T&T is a wonderfully interesting game so might pick this up anyway to see in what direction they are taking it in.

Really sad news. Not just a great sci fi comedy but a series that consistently presented novel sci fi ideas. “Infinity welcomes careful drivers” is a legit great Sci-Fi novel, blacker than the tv show but still very funny.

Like or loathe it, MÖRK BORG really unleashed a hoard of people who wanted to write their own stuff and inject wild creativity into the gaming space. Many kept writing beyond just MB material or used it as a gateway to explore the wider TRPG space. A real achievement imho.

Honestly the most important TRPG since Apocalypse world from an industry standpoint. (IMHO)A real nexus point for self publishing, despite the printing of the book being hilariously complex. Well done.

I rewatched the Mad Max series recently, a favorite bunch of films for a whole list of reasons. Rare genre film series without a bad entry. I know a bunch of people will be "but what about Thunderdome?" Nope you are wrong, honestly I find it a joy to watch.

I honestly think the aesthetic of Age of Sigmar owes a bunch to Rackham and Confrontation which is a massive plus in my book. Cadwallon: City of Thieves is my problematic fave TRPG and is full of this stuff.

Bridgetown's default campaign has a great one, throw things in your magic cooking pot and see what you get. It also gives motion to the campaign and possible goals as your crew explore to find rare ingredients.

It was actually made during the run of the Manga, so it departs the narrative at a certain point. Not in a bad way, its just a little different while delivering the hits.

It's probably (imho) the only good Ito adaptation? (I have not watched the live action Tomi movies yet that said) While it pulls from the Manga it does attempt to visually be its own thing which is a strength so many other adaptations lack. Not a masterpiece but creepy an enjoyable.
