I just got the extra year of updates. I have a partition with 11 which I use for some things but it's just worse in almost every way. I'd never use linux for a personal device too many incompatibilities with things I use.

Not really because people are going to daily drive linux. That will never happen outside of the niche that already exists.

Getting extended support for 10 is pretty easy, I'll be staying on it for at least another year. I dislike 11 a lot and I'm hoping the pattern of decent and dogshit continues with whatever version replaces it. Linux adoption is spiking as people install it on machines that can't run 11

If melee was your thing it's properly fleshed out in the sequel, combo systems etc... and yeah the story in the first one had me hooked and exploring the world for any crumb of background I could find.

It's hard to narratively top the first one, and the second one is definitely weaker there but mechanically it's much better IMO. Still good, Zero Dawn was just 🤌 also it's gorgeous.

So many devs chasing photo realism with no direction. Pretty pixels don't move the needle for most people. Is the game fun? Why do I want to play it? Looking at individual pores and drops of sweat is not it. Make the game fun first. Horizon FW is a good example of pretty and fun.
