Had a wonderful time today at WrestleCon.

Back in 2015 l attended Big Apple Comic Con and had the opportunity to speak with Piper for my old podcast. During that interview I would ask questions, however while I sounded confident in speaking, eye contact was not there. If you listen, Piper was annoyed. You could tell that he didn't like that I was just looking down on the ground nervously. That was when I thought to myself "screw it," and just looked up and stared him directly in the eyes as we spoke. He opened up and you could tell he was much more comfortable, just like I was. Because of Piper, I was able to conquer a fear that hindered me in many ways. It hurts that he's no longer with us, because I would have loved to say thank you to him. He helped boost my confidence and I've been able to accomplish so much as a podcaster and human being in general. I owe it all to the Hot Rod and miss him to this very day. 🤟

I feel like you can’t say one without the other, but what about Sal Buscema? He’s hand to god one of the most underappreciated Spidey artists. That run with JM writing and Bill on inks for Spectacular is one of the greatest, but slept on runs of all time.

Wasn’t a fan for the longest time. Just didn’t get him. Then seeing him in person twice (him and Fletcher VS Rod & Todd Buck and him vs Fletcher) made me a fan. Plus his Hey! EW with @rjcity.bsky.social sealed the deal.

Ah fuck, I think Will Ospreay is my current favorite wrestler today.
