On Friday I walked under a couple of Aspen trees, and looking up I noticed a few aphids on the underside of a leaf. These were Chairophorus tremulae (influentialpoints.com/Gallery/Chai...). The larger black ones are the apterae, whilst there were a variety of immatures present.
