It depends on the intention.
Recreating the art style of a work or character is an intention in itself diametrically opposed to drawing it in your own style.
One is an exercise in "recreating" something, the other in "reinterpreting" it
Both can be appreciated on their own, but I prefer the second

Although in the case of "Cinnamon Skin" it is not only a reference to the song performed by Nat King Cole of the same name, but also refers to the content of a song by Brazilian musician Emilio Santiago

When I can't think of a title for a post on Pixiv and I want to give it something, I give it the title of a song that "works" although almost always the content of the song itself has no relation whatsoever haha

"Roxanne Hernandez," my first official OC was thought as a throw away character for one use only, but people liked her. The name is a play on words because a group of friends said she looked like a human resources "HR" worker / in Spanish: "RH" hence the initials of her name.

My username is a reference to the 1978 musical album "Équinoxe" and my profile picture on my art accounts is a primitive 3D render of one of the members of the band "Kraftwerk" made by American animator Rebecca Allen in the mid-1980s

On Wednesday I reached 500 followers on Pixiv, this is a small thread with some random facts:

It's not often Johanna gets to have time for herself to forget the stress of parenthood, and in a trip to Toføten, she gets a time to swim on her own, or at least until a curious Hynerpeton swims along
