I'm in a weird spot lately where I've been feeling that social media just isn't for me or my cup of tea. I think it's mostly the interaction aspect and I'm just so tired of trying to make connections that last, or at least make new connections in the first place.

Here are Tavian and Avia side by side for comparison. I love them so much and I cannot wait to make more! Both plush were made using @dollphinwing.bsky.social's pattern as a base. Avia's yukata + hakama are my own pattern.

Second completed plush is another of my Splatoon Ocs; It's Queen Avia of the L'Anglaise clan! I went over and above with the small details. The base pattern I followed is by @dollphinwing.bsky.social. The yukata + hakama is my own drafted pattern.

I wanted to do a neat interaction between my oc Avia and Shiver. Both are leaders of their respected clans and coincidentally, both use the Tri-Stringer. Guess Inkadia clans aren't all that bad after all!

I understand what you mean. Frustrating to say the least, but it is what it is. Maybe the next instalment of the game will open up the player base a bit more with other people in a similar situation.

I can't seem to find a casual group with the requirements I seek and I've got no leads either. Even though I have captain experience and could start my own to fix that void, I just don't have the time or desire to manage something like that anymore.

I don't understand the need for personal coaches when a peer of similar level could easily step in and do vod reviews, give advice, do sessions, etc in place. Coaches just seem more priority to a team setting as there is multiple people at once rather than a 1 on 1 session type thing.

I would rather YG get a challenge where they go quad splatling as their comp against another team, or at least use their current comp in a mode challenge like the jumping one etc. But like. Please do NOT give them quad Screen. Anything but quad Screen.

Splatterscreen has yet to show up in the manga and despite Blazer already having the .52 deco by default their original comp could work. But Swig, Hoofz and Chydra have not and since the manga is currently heavily referencing past things, Screen quad is looking sadly to be likely (I really hope not)

I just realized in the current coroika arc Yellow-Green Team could do a callback to their Splat 1 days by doing a quad special comp by switching Dynamo, Jet and Heavy for Big Swig, Hoof-z and CHydra to match Blazer's .52 Deco to be a quad Splatterscreen comp and I do not know how to feel about this.

Would love to work on my next oc plushie, but I'm saving that project for my next week off when I know I won't be so stressed. I want to be able to sit in front of my sewing machine uninterrupted for hours on end lol. Tavian will be united to Avia soon enough 👀 Just a little bit longer!

The past week has been busy and stressful. Hopefully the next few days proves to be less so and more relaxing 😪 I want to destress enough so that I can continue work on a current full color piece, or at least doodle a few things in my sketchbook.

Mentality in terms of confidence is definitely something I have improved on. I use to frustrate myself with thoughts and feelings that I wasn't able to keep up with my team mates in terms of where my skills were at the time and generally felt the reason teams I was on or part of were not getting -

Div 10-9 should be the point where you are learning from the ground up etc. I don't know why it's become the norm for teams in that level to have high expectations right from the get go. Maybe it's those expectations as to why new people are turned off considering comp.

Feel this so much. It's worse when it's an entry level team that doesn't require comp experience/no experience but then goes on in the requirements to say you need X amount of power and play at a div 5 level and I'm like HUH??? Make it make sense please.

I do not wish to participate in tournaments so if your group/server focuses on that I am not interested. Thanks.

Trying for one last time. Looking for a forever home in an adult casual setting where I can fit in.

Was excited by the idea that I could put my handmade OC plushies into my ita bag, but unfortunately they are too big for the pockets. My bag's window only fits smaller sized plushies and items such as buttons and charms. Guess this means I'll have to get another bag specifically for them haha.

I wish my next vacation week to hurry up and arrive soon. I want to start working on my next plushie 🥺

A weeks worth of work and he's complete! I made a plushie of Tavian, one of my Splatoon Ocs. He'll be followed by a plushie of Avia shortly. This was my first time making a plushie with this type of detail. I followed a pattern by Dollphinwing

Update on the plushie. Took a breather for the night and returned to it today with better insight. Able to figure out a way to solve all the issues without having to scrap the entire project completely. Much better mood and the little guy is coming along well now! 😀
