A painting of two nude women bathing in a shady natural pool. The women are in the lower left corner of this almost square canvas. There are many gnarly tree branches overhanging the scene, some of the branches at the top of the painting are glowing where the sun hits them. The shady waters under the trees, rendered in blues and purples, flows out to an open area visible as a little triangle of brightness in the center of the painting. There is a small boat moored where the water transitions from shade to sun.
