There’s never going to be a clean answer about where the line between helpful and harmful is divided. However, if there are multiple voices critiquing something someone did online, including content creators replying to them to yield, then maybe the problem is that they need to change in some way.

Replying to a user urging to respect boundaries that “Claire isn’t stupid” before proceeding to make assumptions of her consent, contrary to what some may think, is making a mockery out of Claire’s intelligence, her right for respect, and the journey it takes for a trans women to embrace her name.
