On Saturday afternoon (2/28) at 4 PM in the shop, Domnica Radulescu will share her new novel, My Father's Orchards, followed by an audience Q&A.

Please note that this event was rescheduled from January due to the snowstorm. We look forward to finally celebrating Domnica's book!

This Friday night (2/27) at 7 PM in the shop, Rebecca Kauffman will be discussing her new novel, The Reservation, with Siân White! In a starred review, Publishers Weekly called The Reservation "a pitch-perfect mash-up of Clue and The Bear."

Mark your calendars! The VA Festival of the Book will be March 20-22 here in Charlottesville, with some preview events on March 19. Here at New Dominion, we'll be hosting 11 events in the shop, Thursday through Sunday. Check out ndbookshop.com/events to see the lineup of in-shop festival events!

The @uvacreativewriting.bsky.social MFA Reading Series returns to the shop tonight (1/22) at 7 PM! This weekly reading series on Thursday evenings features at least one poet and one prose writer from the UVA MFA program and is free and open to the public.

A.D. Carson's event for his new memoir, Being Dope: Hip Hop and Theory through Mixtape Memoir, which was originally scheduled for this weekend, has been rescheduled to Friday, February 6, at 5:30 PM due to the incoming snowstorm. We'll look forward to celebrating his book in February!

This Friday night (1/23) in the shop at 7 PM, join us for a bilingual reading in Spanish and English as we celebrate Fernando Valverde’s new poetry collection, The Men Who Killed My Mother, translated by Gordon E. McNeer.
