On paper, it was an ideal breakup and we’re on good terms; but we did set some boundaries to help us adjust to this new normal.

Racism is not based on intent - it’s based on actions, both voluntarily and involuntarily.

The one of the greatest myths is believing you can’t be racist if you are “good” person and mean well.

But also telling any person with a disability that they should not be allowed in public because of their disability is unacceptable.

White folks love to use having a disability as an excuse for their racism (as well as their homophobia, misogyny, transphobia, etc.)

No matter the reason, we cannot dismiss this behavior and not have accountability for the harm it’s caused.

I have noticed that when it comes to anti-Black racism, the ask is usually "let's minimize the impact because of the intent."

In too many instances, Black pain, embarrassment, and dehumanization come at the expense of absolving white guilt.
