I agree. I’m nowhere near a GameStop so my kid has no chance of getting these. I’ll be damned if I’m going to spend $50 to drive to a store that isn't guaranteed to have anything available.

This is the only way I have access to a majority of my appts. For three reasons. 1) I live RURAL & travel to office is financially impossible 2) I’m a solo parent & can’t access some healthcare unless virtual 3) An hour appointment in person equals six hours away from home. It’s exhausting.

Time to put my money behind Netflix and binge watch my favorite shows. She-Ra and the princesses of power, The Dragon Prince etc etc would all be on the chopping block if Netflix capitulates. Don’t take our art you feckless pieces of shit.

There’s not really anything that could’ve been done without exposing people to Covid so we just rested a lot. And I’m bad at reaching out. I lost more weight which sucks but I’m alive and we’re moving on.

I know. It still breaks my heart every time I hear about it. i have a kid and we’ve chosen to homeschool because the anxiety of it all was just too much for both of us. She deserves to have a normal school experience so we’re looking for ways to leave the USA.

I keep wondering when the scale will tip to get enough Americans to stop this and it doesn’t seems like ever. This is not sustainable for humanity.

I do a baseline convo and feel it out. If the person honestly wants to learn and have a talk human to human, I participate. If the person is just there to argue against my or others existence I provide resources to others who’ve shared. I agree to cont. convo if the person reads resources.

I’ve found when I start advocating (for a group I belong to) I am often not backed up or given the space to share experiences. It takes a lot of energy to educate someone. I would speak up more often if I knew there were more allies to hold space when I’m trying to inform.

I’ve always lived close to the Canada border. In fact I was so close as a kid when I moved to Seattle at 15 everyone thought I was Canadian b/c of my “accent“. l’m mourning the loss of our friendship w/ Canadians lately. I support the boycott of the USA but I hope someday we can reconnect again.
