More dream work

“The curse that killed Margret didn't even hurt. It just felt cold. Not the hard crisp cold of a winter's day but a slow creeping cold like bog water seeping into tall boots or the end of childhood.”

Slow writing day, so something from a recent flash fiction.

"The eyebrow, on being joined by its neighbor, had gone from accusatory to openly curious."

Working on part 3 of "The Life and Limericks..." The first draft of this book was written a number of years ago at this point, its nice to come back to it. Hoping to have a 2nd draft in a month or two.

"That night, lying on the couch he examined that weight that had seemed to solidify around his decision. It was hard and painful, a lump squeezing his heart...It felt like growing up."

On to part 3 of "Life and Limericks" the story of the strange life of a dream come true.

"She was taller than he expected, close to ten feet when he got up close and he saw that her skin was made of words. Some typed some handwritten, some chiseled into flint all in subtly different shades of ink black all swirling over her like a hurricane made of subtitles."
