Think it went the same way as the good old days when we all agreed that being a Nazi was a bad thing.

‘If you disagree with an illegal war you must support the ayatollah’s regime’ is the new ‘do you condemn Ham*s?’.

Badenoch was disgraceful at #PMQs today. People are terrified about the war in the Middle East. What was needed was a mature respectful exchange. It shouldn’t have been an opportunity for her to try and score cheap points about the welfare state whilst baying for escalation no one wants.

Syphilis can cause random rashes, bruises and sores throughout the body as well as mental delusions, memory loss and, eventually, dementia-like symptoms. Just saying.

Farage emulating ‘his hero Trump’ in deriding byelection results, says new Green MP Reform leader says without evidence that his party’s candidate came first among UK-born voters, as Hannah Spencer takes seat in parliament

Farage's Trumpian claims about Gorton + Denton don't add up: I contributed my comments on why these are false claims to this Guardian report

You know when Trump supporters so passionately told us he was a good guy because he was going to release and go after the people in the Epstein files, fix the economy and bring peace to the world? Why aren’t they angrier (With him, not everyone else)?

When Donald Trump says ‘nuclear weapons’ it sounds like ‘no clear weapons’. So when he said ‘Iran has no clear weapons’ it might be the closest he’s ever come to telling the truth.

China had SARS and now everyone wears a mask at the first hint of a sniffle. That’s because their culture is focussed around duty to fellow citizens more than individual rights (not saying that’s better or that China doesn’t have its issues it’s just interesting to note the difference).

It’s completely stupid to pretend there is a ‘good guy’ in this scenario.

Also I’ll be taking no lectures on women’s rights from anyone who supports Trump, thank you.

No one is defending the Iranian regime & its brutalisation of its own people. That doesn’t make it any less true that this war was started by a man desperately distracting from the Epstein files and a man who is wanted for war crimes. Two old men who’ll send young ppl to die so they can avoid prison.

Labour is stubborn in defeat because it knows this: we face the belated end of the political 20th century | John Harris In Gorton and Denton, I heard again and again that people wanted seismic political change – Labour and the Tories are no longer part of that conversation, says Guardian columnist John Harris

"Whereas so-called 'red wall' residents who have moved to the right have been lionised by Labour insiders as 'hero voters' to be chased and never criticised, Labour-Green switchers must apparently be scolded for being seduced by indulgent and reckless gesture politics."

Reflecting on my show last night and the number of times a caller confidently stated ‘you said…’ and then went on to say something that I either didn’t say or was the total opposite of what I actually said…. it’s okay just to have an opinion. You don’t have to create a straw woman first.

The news that Donald Trump is seeking an ‘off ramp’ from the war in Iran and was apparently never genuinely interested in regime change (unless he could ‘own’ the country like in Venezuela) sent me over the edge on air tonight…. 🤬🤬🤬

- Commentators have characterised the strikes on Iran as Netanyahu and Trump trying to distract from domestic scandal, making the world less safe in the process. Do you agree?
- Is it realistic to expect the Iranian people to implement regime change alone?
