No, the main issue is if you’re going to quote a statistic it needs to come from a credible, verified source.

That particular figure *was* bogus though because it did not come from a credible source.

Please name the campaign group so I can research who funds them, how they conduct their data analysis and if this letter is real. Thanks.

Where is this from? can tou verify it? Even if you could there’s no evidence they ‘throw away’ their documents - much more likely to have been mugged/forced to give to traffickers.
