I'm slogging through this draft as well. I thought I knew what I wanted it to be, but now I feel too empty.

That makes me very, very sad. In concept. I don't *feel* sad, but I recognize that it *is* a sad thing.

I don't know what it is, if it is the BPD or some natural trait or whatever, but once I have to break from something, I break. I mourn as long as it hurts, if it does, and then--nothing. Not even a lingering pang. It's like I killed all the tender and hopeful parts of me.

I spent two days in heart-gaping sorrow and mourning until I woke up the third day and felt my heart completely sealed off. No more sadness. No more grief.

If, and this is a big if, he ends up changing his mind, I'm not even sure if I would feel anything.
