Whilst I've not kept up this account for months and months, alongside the Twitter one I had, it almost spans the same time as the doctorate, which began April 2020 and ended a few weeks ago. Now I've got to go and be an adult and get a post lecturing students about British Civil Wars.

As we enter Dollar 'Flu season, thought I might swing by to say 'hello!' and hope that if you're reading this you're well.

I don't know if anyone remembers, or was aware, for the entire time of posting my VP since May 2020, I was studying for my doctorate. Now I am Doctor (of History).

One minute later ...

It has taken me a while, but I'm finally starting to learn how the #PhotoMode works in #Cyberpunk2077. So just a rough one of my V with her totally-not-stolen car.

It has been a very long while since I've posted anything because I've been busy. I've been completing my doctorate, been playing other games than #TheDivision2 (including #Cyberpunk2077 & #DiscoElysium). No idea if I'll get back into TD2, they kind of lost me with the story decisions.

Huh.

Completed the #TheDivision2 Manhunt mission but no debriefing. Checked White House and Castle, as well as Safe Houses near the final mission. Nothing.

Have I missed something?

Sometimes this game is absolutely beautiful and a delight to look around. The rest of the time it is complete chaos.

Does anyone know if there is a toggle in #TheDivision2 to turn off auto-fire on rifles? It is really messing up rifles for me because I don't have the control over them I used to have. A rapid-fire rifle now spews bullets all over the place whereas my past methodical fire kept the grouping tight.

Me, March 2019: "Yes, the LVOA-C is finally a single-shot rifle as it should have been all along."

Me, December 2024: "I LOVE YOU LEXINGTON!"
