Here's a tip! Car dealerships rent cars also! (Not all, but many.) A couple years ago, I rented a Rav4 Hybrid from a Toyota dealership for $49 a day. Call some car dealerships and see what they can do.

I know this forum is for positivity and good vibes, but I can't help but feel some real dread. I literally had nightmares last night about the state of our country.
