This isnβt about baseball. Itβs about unfinished conversations. The final scene captures the love we donβt always express and the time we canβt get back. As the score swells, it reminds us that sometimes a simple game of catch means everything.

The film brilliantly blurs the line between justice and overreach, and it remains one of the most impressive predictors of the tech our society uses today.

π¬ Minority Report (2002)
One of the great sci-fi films of the 2000s. Minority Report felt unbelievably futuristic while still grounded in realistic technology.
π¬ The Hunger Games: The Ballard of Songbirds and Snakes (2023)
Ballard of Songbirds & Snakes had potential, but Snowβs transformation never feels fully earned. Lucy Gray is the highlight, yet the film doesnβt dig deep enough emotionally to justify its runtime. Decent - just not compelling

π¬ Zodiac (2007)
Zodiac shines in its tense first act and feels like itβs building toward greatness. Unfortunately, the second and third acts drag, lingering too long on the charactersβ desperation. A solid, well-made film that ultimately left me a bit unfulfilled.

π¬ As Good As It Gets (1997)
One of the great films of the 90s, As Good As It Gets finds something deeply human in the small moments - showing how love and friendship can grow from the most unlikely places.

π¬ The Covenant (2023)
A departure from the usual Guy Ritchie style. Gone are the puns and sharp comedic timing. Instead, The Covenant delivers a gritty, grounded portrayal of military life. Solid overall, even if it doesnβt leave a strong lasting impression.

π¬ Deepwater Horizon (2016)
The film looks at the events and decisions that led to the eventual catastrophe of Deepwater Horizon. Strong performances and grounded direction help maintain tension throughout, even when the narrative is largely procedural.

28 Days Later remains a grounded and unsettling vision of a zombie apocalypse, defined by its realism and the quiet dread of a world falling apart.
βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈ
I went in with high hopes for Take Me Home To night, but it never quite gets there. The cast is strong and there are some laughs, but it lacks the comedic punch that makes these movies stand out. A missed opportunity.

π¬ Triple 9 (2016)
A raw, gritty cop drama that goes 100 mph from the jump. The film feels grounded in realism, capturing the everyday situations faced by special unit officers, with brutal violence and constant tension that never lets up.
βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈ
A classic flick from the 80s, Gremlins is one of the most unlikely blockbusters ever. Itβs fun, scary, and nails that perfect balance of cute and creepy. Horror, comedy, and holiday chaos all rolled into one.
βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈ
π¬ Logan (2017)
The best entry in the Wolverine saga. Logan is less about superheroes and more about guilt, forgiveness, and the bond between Logan and Charles - ending in a quiet, painful search for atonement.

Solid performances, but no Musketeer spirit. Not bad - just forgettable. A hesitant βοΈβοΈ

Hoosiers had a whimsical, old-timey spirit that fits its era well, but it leans heavily on its score to carry the emotion. The music often does the work of elevating scenes instead of letting the characters and dialogue breathe. I get why itβs so beloved, though -
28.01.2026 18:56 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Unbelievably beautiful and emotionally powerful in ways that words canβt fully describe. A story rooted in connection and collaboration, and in the quiet power of teaching, curiosity, and the soul of knowledge.

Deadpool is pure, over-the-top comic-book chaos-raunchy, self-aware, action-packed, and somehow full of heart. Ryan Reynolds understood the assignment.
βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈ
Warrior is a solid fight drama with great performances and real heart. It doesnβt fully stick the emotional landing, but itβs still engaging and worth your time.

Robocop (1987)
Corny? Sure - but RoboCop is more than a sci-fi action thriller. At its core, the film grapples with corruption, inequality, and an incisive political lens that feels a little too close to reality.
βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈ
π¬ The Rip (2026)
Damon and Affleck know how to tell a story. This action-packed suspense thriller is filled with great twists, sharp turns, and even an unexpected heartfelt moment.
βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈ
A gritty, docu-style film that captures the highs and lows of law enforcement, while exploring the often overlooked boredom, guilt, and emotional weight of the job.
βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈ
A sharp look at modern dating, unrealistic expectations, and societal pressure to settle. Materialists proves that beneath the superficial, love still wins.
βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈ
π¬ Fargo (1996)
First-time watch of Fargo. Entertaining and well thought out, but it never felt as gripping as its reputation suggests. Solid film - just not the cinematic landmark itβs often made out to be.
βοΈβοΈβοΈ
π¬ Predator (1987)
Predator is peak 80s action - muscles, guns, aliens, and pure bravado. Loud, over-the-top, and driven by the perfect sci-fi concept. Not my favorite, but still one of the franchiseβs strongest.
βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈ
A fun and wacky rom-com. Palm Springs leans all the way into its over-the-top time loop premise, and that commitment is what makes it so charming. Strong comedy, great chemistry, and a surprisingly heartfelt message. βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈ
14.01.2026 18:49 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Watched The Hunchback of Notre Dame for the first time and it lands at the bottom of my Disney Renaissance ranking - but not because itβs a bad film. Itβs one of Disneyβs most mature and ambitious stories, tackling themes well ahead of its time.
Without nostalgia, it didnβt fully click for me. βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈ
I expected more from Joy Ride as a coming-of-age film. While it had its moments, much of the humor felt unnecessary and distracting. Thankfully, the third act shines, delivering genuine emotion and a strong message about connection. βοΈβοΈβοΈ

Another fun season of Emily in Paris. Some story beats feel cyclical, but the fashion and music remain on point.
