@leeknoxostertag.bsky.social got me thinking about a manuscript I wrote (and turned into a D&D campaign) where the monster races really are victims and most only serve the BBEG out of fear. The MC / players work with a rebel cell & uncover the true history of the Ugrali (monsterfolk)

Turns out when your players all play as ex-minion dungeon monsters, there's a lot of wholesome interactions with an undercurrent of unsettling horror 😅

I found myself nodding along when reading your favorites. Not that I've played them, but taken all together I feel like they show who you are fairly well: magical powers of storytelling and transformation, with a side of appreciation of the ladies 😉

There are always great moments and lines in these games, but I have the memory of a gnat so I have started writing some down.

How could I not when the dancing bard and their fey backup dancers were distracting a baddie, and the blood hunter laughs, "they're twerking hypnotic pattern!"
