This lack of protection for streamers, ESPECIALLY WOMEN, is absolutely inexcusable on the part of Twitch and TwitchCon. I’m not familiar with Emiru’s work but that doesn’t matter because she was assaulted in public by someone who was allowed to get to her due to lack of security. /3

Emiru’s security was very quick to act in getting the man away from her but wasn’t able to escort him from the premises because they had to return to Emiru. Twitch later claimed that he was removed from the venue and banned from future events but Emiru has confirmed that this story is bullshit /2
