We can now enter the Enhanced User Experience stage of the Crescendo Hardfork where you, the mainnet node operator, play an important role. We are inviting pools, exchanges and all integrators to run a testnet-11 node and test your software against that node.

It’s been 2 weeks since the Testnet11 HF that contained all the optimizations we’ve been working on as well as the activation of KIP10,finalized KIP9 and payloads.The network is running stable and nodes on the network, some of them over a decade old,have been chugging along nicely.

🏆Great news! The International Association for Trusted Blockchain Applications lists Kaspa as nominated for the Most Exciting DEFI Solution Category 2025.

A follow-up post will invite integrators to test their software on the Testnet-11 10BPS network and provide instructions on how to do so.

Kaspa Testnet-11 Hard Fork has been successfully activated at DAA score 287238000.

This exact set of consensus rules and constants might be applied to mainnet in the not-too-far future.

It will allow us to start determining the minimum recommended hardware specs for 10bps mainnet.

The release is the first in the Crescendo roadmap and includes all optimizations the Rusty Kaspa crew has been working on over the past few months.

Please read the instructions in the release and upgrade your testnet 11 nodes accordingly.

The hardfork is set to activate in TN11 at DAA score `287238000` which will be hit roughly on `Dec 3, 2024 1800 UTC`.

This new testnet release will include all the optimizations and improvements the #Kaspa Dev team has been working on thus far allowing them to determine the minimum recommended node spec for 10bps in mainnet. (#Crescendo)
